Without fans in the crowd, tennis players felt out of place on the courts. Inarguably, their absence made even the best of the tennis matches seem incomplete. However, the good news is that this would not happen at the Wimbledon Championships 2021.
After being canceled last year due to the ongoing pandemic, Wimbledon will return on June 28, 2021. Excitingly, the fans too will enter the All England Club and witness the only grass-court Grand Slam event embark again.

Moreover, the dates above leave behind the women’s and men’s singles final, scheduled for June 12 and July 13, respectively. So what is the fan entry limit for the Championships finals?
For the first time since Australian Open 2020, which was 18 months ago, a major tournament will allow 100% spectator capacity. That’s right; a full-house Centre Court at Wimbledon will witness two of the biggest finals of the year.
In the statement, the AELTC said, “This will enable us to fulfil our aspiration of staging the best Wimbledon possible within the current circumstances, with the health and safety of all those who make Wimbledon happen – our guests, competitors, members, staff, media, officials, local residents, and partners – remaining our highest priority.”
Also, they added that they continue to work closely with the Government to finalise the details, including the requirements for Covid-status certification for spectators.
