Apart from that, Serena also attended many events as a motivational speaker and talked about women’s empowerment. Recently, the American tennis player shared another post where she talked about a Summit for empowering women. 

Serena Williams talks about Embrace Ambition Summit

Earlier, the 23-time Grand Slam champion shared a story on Instagram, where she talked about the Embrace Ambition Summit about empowering women, which will take place on June 14th. Notably, Tory Burch Foundation is organizing this summit, which will take place virtually. It is also worth mentioning that the famous fashion designer Tory Burch is the founder of the Tory Burch Foundation. This foundation mainly focuses on the development of women entrepreneurs and empowering women, in general. It seems like Serena will also join the summit to talk more about the above-mentioned topic.

Serena has been a role model for many women

Serena has become a trailblazer for many women on the tour. Over the last 20 years, the American tennis player has been playing consistently on the WTA tour and won many titles along the way. Notably, she won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the second-highest in the sport’s history. Many players idolize her because of her attitude and consistency on the tour. Moreover, many considered her the greatest ever to play the game.

Currently, the American tennis player is near the end of her career and is struggling with a lot of injuries. The last time she played in a tournament was at the Wimbledon last year. Earlier, the tennis player talked about returning to this year’s Wimbledon. However, she has not entered her name in the tournament and will probably miss her favorite slam. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see if and when she decides to return, as the US Open will take place after Wimbledon.
