The former world no.5 Canadian tennis professional Eugenie Bouchard is a free soul. However, it does not mean that she slacks off at her game, as she is the first Canadian-born player representing Canada to reach the finals of a Grand Slam tournament.
Eugenie, also known by the nickname Genie, is a perfect mixture of fun and responsible. She tries to maintain a bond with other players outside the game as well. Adding to that, she is very close to her family and her friends and makes sure she showers them with her attention and time.

She was recently in Miami, attending the Miami Open. During her visit, Eugenie recently attended a fun pool party with her friends and shared an array of stories on Instagram. She believes in keeping herself busy, as she attended the women’s singles final and then had a laid-back evening at a pool party.

Following that, she went to a pool party with her friends. The atmosphere of the party was cordial and relaxed. Upon meeting her friends, she captioned “Back to the streets”. Further, she filmed people and jokingly confessed, “I love looking at everyone’s sunburns.”
Good news for Eugenie Bouchard fans
The 28-year-old is keeping out of the circuit since March 2021. Her last appearance was in Monterrey open. Eugenie was slowly climbing up the points table but owing to a shoulder injury she hasn’t taken part in any tournament since June 2021. After almost a year, she is all set to make a comeback in the clay-court season.

She has received a wild card entry in an ITF tournament which begins on 11th April in Innisbrook resort. The tournament is a gateway to Roland Garros, as it will provide a wild card entry to the main draws.

Eugenie Bouchard is currently ranking at no. 1454. She touched her peak in the year 2014 by reaching the finals of Wimbledon, followed by semifinals in the Australian Open and French Open. However, she will look forward to making some better records, thrashing some potential opponents, and touching a ranking higher than her previous world ranking in this comeback.
