It is worth noting that Wozniacki already has a daughter named Olivia with her husband and former American basketball player, David Lee.

Apart from Serena, Donna Vekic, Agnieszka Radwanska, and the WTA also congratulated her. Meanwhile, Serena posted a story on Instagram, where she wrote, “Love You.”

In June 2021, Wozniacki and Lee welcomed their daughter Olivia. Prior to that, in 2019, she said goodbye to tennis after playing in the Australian Open. However, it wasn’t before she became a Grand Slam champion for the first time in her career in 2018, at the Australian Open. In the final, she beat Romanian star Simona Halep in a thrilling encounter.

Despite retiring from professional tennis, she played a farewell match in front of her home crowd in April of this year. In that match, she played against Angelique Kerber and won the match in straight sets.

Serena is eying her 24th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon

While her best friend is starting a new family, Serena Williams is on the verge of creating history on the tennis court. At 40, she is still going for a Grand Slam title, as she has announced her participation at the Wimbledon this year. Earlier, she received a wild card from Wimbledon, marking her return to the tournament where she suffered a hamstring injury last year.

Before she steps into the grass-courts of Wimbledon, she will compete in doubles at the Eastbourne tournament with Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur. This could be a perfect preparation for the American tennis legend, as she is vying for her 24th Grand Slam title to match Margaret Court’s record.
