Bianca Andreescu, the 21-year-old Canadian, is all set to make a comeback after a long break. Earlier, she was forced to take a year off the court due to a knee injury. However, this time she stepped out of the circuit to restore her mental well-being.
Bianca has already made her name in WTA by being the only teenager to win a Grand Slam after Sharapova in 2006. Moreover, is no less than a gem for Canadian tennis fans. As she claimed the ranking of world no.4 and became the highest-ranked Canadian in WTA. Therefore, since she has made an announcement of her comeback, all eyes are on her. And several questions regarding her break are flooding her.

Bianca Andreescu Shares Her Experience
Bianca, after deciding to take a break from tennis, went back to her hometown to spend some quality time with her family. The Canadian spoke about the same and said, ” yeah, definitely I have taken all the time for myself. I saw my parents. I spend a lot of time with them and my friends.”

Further, she mentioned one of her old hobbies, which she picked during her break. She said, “I started making music as well; I am making my own beats. I am not singing or anything. So don’t ask me to do that. And I started playing the Guitar again. I used to play that when I was little.”

What’s Bianca’s Mindset While in the Game
Bianca took a break to get her mental health on track just before the Australian Open 2022 and missed some major tournaments such as the Qatar Open and Summer doubles. However, in her defense, the type of game she plays is a mixture of witty shot section and speed. Therefore, for executing such a level of gameplay, mental stability and self-belief is a must.
The Grand Slam champion addressed her on-court mindset and said, “I am fearless. It is a weird feeling. I can’t really describe it. Because when I am on the court, I am super confident, but not in a way that will destroy me. But I really trust in my abilities.” Thus proving that for playing her top game, she requires her intellect to be settled and calm.

Bianca Andreescu will play against Jule Niemeier, the German who has taken a wild card entry into the Stuttgart Open. They will see each other on 19th April in the round of 32.
