Sloane Stephens caught eyeballs with her impressive run at the US Open in 2017. Earlier that year, she was out of action owing to a foot injury. However, she came back in style to win her maiden Grand Slam title in her home country. Subsequently, she has had a consistent run in big tournaments. As a result, she achieved a career-best ranking of Number 3 in 2018. Recently, she talked about her collaboration with Shaquille O’Neal, Darren Waller, and Rose Lavelle to promote a brand.

Sloane Stephens on her collaboration with other athletes

During an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, Stephens was asked about her latest collaboration to promote Icy Hot. She said, “The collaboration has been great. Obviously, I play an individual sport, so being able to be on Icy Hot squad has been super cool. Obviously, with Shaq and Darren, and Rose, all incredible athletes.”

Further, she added, “I think, obviously everyone knows that Icy Hot is a household brand that I have grown up using. So, for recovery and you know for pain, it’s always been a go-to for me. So, it’s nice to be able to collaborate with the brand that I actually truly love and genuinely love using. And then to be affiliated with you know the other team members is super awesome just because they are incredible in their own fields and it’s always nice to bring athletes together. And it’s cool what Icy Hot is doing, obviously.”

Stephens delivers a powerful message at the White House

Earlier this week, the former US Open champion was present at the White House during the launch of the anti-harassment Task Force. She delivered a strong speech on the subject of online harassment at the event.
