Maria Sharapova celebrates her birthday
Sharapova turned 35 on 19th April to a deluge of birthday and best wishes. Legend Billie Jean King also joined the group of people who wished the Russian.

The American, who has 39 Grand Slam titles to her name wished the star by sharing a photo.
“Happy birthday to 5x Grand Slam Champion, and our friend,” she captioned the tweet.
The picture shows Sharapova looking great as always in a printed black dress. King, with her trademark pearls and spectacles is present alongside wife Ilana Kloss. Life partners for more that 40 years, Billie Jean king and her former doubles partner married in 2018. This marriage was largely kept a secret and it was only through her memoir All In that everyone got to know about this development.
King, as is known to many is a path-breaking entity in the sport and revolutionized the way women’s tennis is played.
Sharapova spends her birthday vacationing
Generally, the Russian former World No. 1 does not disappoint her countless fans. She regularly posts about her birthday plans much to the wonder of her supporters and followers.
This year too, Sharapova posted a picture of herself in what looks like the front of an idyllic beach house and said that it was her pre-birthday celebration. The Russian went on to write a message filled with gratitude for all the heart-warming messages she has received.

Maria retired form professional tennis in 2020 after a successful comeback following a doping scandal. But, it is not like she has not been busy all this while.
