One such fan of Serena Williams is a four-year-old girl from Tigray Ethiopia. Named after the legendary tennis star, young Serena never stopped dreaming, even during precarious situations in her country.
Young Serena wants to be a professional tennis player
The situation in Northern Ethiopia remains generally calm but unpredictable. In Tigray, some locations are still facing issues amidst the ongoing internal disturbance. While the man-made disaster is already causing a lot of trouble for the people living here, a 4-year-old child from the city has not given up on her dream. The kid aspires to become a professional tennis player just like her idol Serena Williams.
“I want to be a professional tennis player when I grow up. I want to be just like Serena Williams and win as many games.” She said.
