Maxwell Jacob Friedman, popularly known as MJF, is making all the headlines recently for his actions on AEW Dynamite. Almost every wrestling fan is looking forward to see what does the future holds for MJF in AEW.

And after his recent AEW Dynamite promo, it looks like MJF will soon part ways with AEW. In recent months, there have been rumors about MJF and Tony Khan having some issues. And this week, he took out his frustrations by firing shots at Tony Khan in front of the AEW fans.

In his promo, the AEW superstar noted he gets no respect even after creating moments after moments for AEW. Further, he mentioned he is the guy who is capable of carrying this company on his back.

Soon after that, he had some words for the AEW president, Tony Khan. The AEW superstar said, “You people [fans] take me for granted. But it’s not just you. It’s the big man in the back, too.”

“Don’t ask him [Tony Khan] to reach to his pockets and pay the man who has been busting his a** for him since Day 1. Make sure he hordes all that money so he can give to all the new ex-WWE guys he keeps bringing in,” MJF added. This looked like an indirect reference to the rumored contractual disputes between Tony Khan and MJF.

Towards the end of the promo, MJF made a big statement. He noted, “I don’t want to wait till 2024 [his current AEW contract expires in 2024]. Tony, I want you to fire me. Look at me, Tony, I want you to fire me.”

Soon after this shocking promo, fans quickly took to Twitter to show their reactions.

It is not sure whether Tony Khan will fire MJF or not. But it looks like MJF is not pleased at all and Khan needs to take a decision regarding this situation.

Is MJF heading towards WWE?

If the AEW fans want to see MJF in AEW, then something needs to change soon. Following his recent booking at AEW Double or Nothing 2022, the AEW superstar will not be pleased.

MJF got dominated by Wardlow, who hit him with ten power bombs for the win. Maxwell Jacob Friedman is someone who wants to be at the top of the pro wrestling business. Thus, he might not be happy with his booking and might soon leave AEW.
