Ric Flair’s turbulent history with WWE is well known to the WWE fanbase. The infamous “Plane Ride from Hell” event was included in a Dark Side of the Rings series that aired last year. After the show, WWE took Flair’s signature “Woo” out of their opening intro and stopped offering his merchandise in their WWE store.

Flair was upset that WWE had removed his introduction, and he decided that he will never again collaborate with Nick Khan at WWE for the rest of his life. However, WWE recently brought back the legendary “Woo” of The Nature Boy in their opener. It appears that business ties with the corporation are once again positive.

Flair recently claimed on Busted Open Radio he went to thank Vince McMahon for bringing him back on the intro. He stated, “I went and saw Vince yesterday to personally thank him. Everything Vince McMahon has ever said to me my entire life has come true. He said, ‘I’m gonna put you back on,’ and he did. [H/T: Fightful]

Additionally, after WWE added his intro, he also expressed his emotions on Twitter, stating, The Most Hurtful Moment In My ENTIRE Career Was Losing My Spot. Thank You So Much For Giving Me Back My Dignity & My Life!

Ric Flair is a skilled wrestler with a unique combination of skills and a lot of experience. In several different wrestling companies, including WWE, WCW, NJPW, and others, he won several championships. Consequently, Flair definitely deserves his spot in the intro as a legendary wrestler who gave the audience many memorable moments. Meanwhile, Flair, 73, is gearing up for his final bout.

Fans of Ric Flair are looking forward to seeing him one more time

Fans of professional wrestling will be in for a treat in the coming weeks as SummerSlam is just around the corner and The Nature Boy will make an appearance in his farewell match. Given his prior health issues, his fans are concerned about his well-being. The opposite is true for Flair, who seems to be in excellent health, despite past conditions.

The interest of the fans reached an all-time high after he posted the promo video on his social media accounts. We can see that he is ready to take on Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal on July 31 thanks to the often posted videos of his training.
