John Cena had an emotional time in the ring on this episode of SmackDown. He took a moment to reflect on his career and even had a few words with Paul Heyman. While the two kept things civilized and showcased their mic skills, things changed when Solo Sikoa entered the ring. Speaking of mic skills, Cena dropped a comparison bomb that left the crowd in awe.

Cena and Sikao will be facing off against each other at WWE’s PLE Crown Jewel 2023 on November 4.

John Cena’s feud with The Bloodline is still not over. Despite Cena’s impressive victory at Fastlane 2023 with the help of LA Knight, Sikoa seems to have some unfinished business. While having an emotional promo for the fans in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was interrupted by Sikoa.

Cena decided to aim his emotions at his upcoming Crown Jewel opponent and made some fun remarks. Cena said, “We all know the only reason you got a job here is because of your cousin.” This referenced Sikoa’s brothers, The Usos, and his cousin Roman Reigns. Members of the Anoa’i family have always been welcomed in the WWE due to their legacy.

He followed it up with one really harsh line of comparison. Cena said, “And we all see you homie, walking around, thinking you’re some big badass enforcer when you’re nothing but a bargain basement Taz.” This line drew a shocked reaction from the crowd.

Taz was a massive hit in the late 1990s in ECW and early 2000s in the WWE. Similar to Sikoa, he was a powerhouse of strength. Due to injuries, he left in-rng work behind and worked as a commentator since 2002. Currently, he’s signed with AEW as a commentator. But, the question remains, will Cena be able to beat this Taz ripoff?

One of the things Cena addressed in his promo is the fact that he has not won a singles match in a long time. Despite the arena chanting “You still got it,” Cena had one reply, “What if I don’t?” Cena has not won a singles match in five years. Despite his win at Fastlane 2023, the match was a tag team match with LA Knight.

At Crown Jewel, Cena will be hoping to finally break this streak of losses. Not only will this be the first time Cena performs at the Crown Jewel PLE, but it could also be his first win at a PLE.
