The 52-year-old said, “So when I was a kid, I had a couple of heroes, the first one was Hulk Hogan. I was a huge Hulkamaniac when I was a kid. I think if you grew up in the 80s like everybody was a Hulkamaniac. He was so good with the crowd, you know,  he was such a great babyface.”

Le Champion added, “And even when I had a chance to work with them for probably three or four months, I think in 2001 or two best babyface ever so easy to work with, really knew how to work his crowd. So that was kind of the first guy that I was ever really into wrestling-wise.”

It is no doubt Hogan has inspired Jericho so much as the former WWE star has sold out several arenas in his career. Moreover, reportedly, Y2J may face CM Punk to sell out Wembley Stadium in the UK in a few months.

There is a reason why Owen Hart was a popular star in WWE. Jericho detailed it in this episode and recalled watching Hart in Stampede Wrestling. He quickly amazed the eight-time world champion and Jericho became a fan of Hart.

The AEW star said, “If you guys haven’t seen Owen’s work, go look some of it up on YouTube, especially when he was younger. He was so great. He was this perfect mix of Japanese and Mexican style wrestling with the amateur style like he was such a great high flyer.”
