Mick Foley is one of the most popular names in this pro wrestling business. Foley had competed in several classic matches over the years. He has massive experience in this industry and once he used his experience to give special advice to top AEW star, Kenny Omega.

During one of the latest episodes of the ‘Foley is Pod’ podcast on AdFreeShows.com, Mick Foley revealed he once contacted Kenny Omega for a special reason.

At first, Foley mentioned how the Mankind character had hurt his feelings in the beginning. He said, “I would read the newsletter. And at first, people weren’t really taking into the Mankind character. And that stuff hurt my feelings. I kind of let it dictate my life”

Soon after that, Foley recalled he once advised Kenny Omega not to make the same mistake he did.

He noted, “I reach out to a guy that I am not close with, Kenny Omega. But I like Kenny and I consider him as a friend. But when I have seen Kenny respond to this stuff, I just DM him, ‘Hey Kenny, you don’t need to do that. Just forget about those people. Just don’t let them dictate your life’.”
