WWE legend Hulk Hogan was WWE’s poster boy in the 1980s. The legend was at the center of WWE’s ‘Rock N Wrestling’ revolution. WrestleMania helped WWE launch itself into pop culture with Hogan its leader. Wrestling’s boom meant it was a common sight to see ‘The Hulkster’ with some of the biggest names from sports and entertainment.
Hogan teamed up with actor Mr. T for the first WrestleMania main event and had a close friendship with bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger. Hogan gave many athletes a run for their money when it came to star power as well as physique.

Hogan famously had biceps larger than former Mr. Olympia Arnold. While Schwarzenegger’s biceps measured 22 inches, Hogan had 24-inch pythons. ‘Hulkster”s run-ins with athletes from other sports were a usual thing in the 80s.

While Hogan is often termed as wrestling’s biggest draw, Ali is regarded as the greatest boxer of all time. His nickname ‘The Greatest’ is a testament to his record in the ring. The charisma these two had was unmatched and helped elevate pro wrestling and boxing into a pop culture phenomenon.
