In the world of professional wrestling, The Undertaker is the definition of greatness. He has been involved in a lot of feuds during his career with illustrious names like Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, Kane, and many others. However, Dr Disrespect stands out among the others.

It will come as a huge shock to anyone unfamiliar with the WWE that The Undertaker feuded with one of the most popular online streamers. Recently, Rob Kligman, former WWE Vice President, Global Digital & Integrated Sponsorship Sales, joined the Essentially Rasslin’ Podcast. During his appearance, he shared details surrounding this legendary match.

When The Undertaker, and Streamer,Dr Disrespect, got into a feud in 2020, it was so significant that G Fuel decided to sponsor the game, since it became so captivating. In the recent chat, Rob Kligman discussed the thought process behind the illustrious collaboration.

He stated, “So there is an opportunity in my career I like to do things that are challenging. And I like to break through the areas that haven’t been done. And I did that, taking an advertisement and putting it on storyline for G Fuel through Netflix partnership that I did.”

Additionally, he said that finding the perfect partnership was crucial since The Deadman never broke his persona throughout his career.

Why did Kligman pick The Undertaker to join forces with G Fuel and Dr Disrespect?

The former Vice President mentioned that Vince McMahon had requested him to go out and find a partner for The Undertaker, which would have made perfect sense, considering that this was the first time, Taker would perform this sort of thing. And he saw G Fuel, and Dr Disrespect, as the perfect partners.

He explained, “I quickly Identify G Fuel as that partner, why? Because gaming is a young 18 to 23 years old demographic. G Fuel is a leader in their industry. They had on the roster that point Dr Disrespect and they had him from the time he had 5000 followers to who he became at that point of time.”

 “And there is an opportunity when I pitched and spoke to some of the folks of at G Fuel to bring both of The Undertaker’s world and Dr. Disrespect’s world together. Which to your point different generations and everything is different. When you put it together, there is the storyline. And what is WWE all about? A storyline.”
