Ever since his 2020 heel turn, Roman Reigns has been an unstoppable force that has seemed out of reach for many. He has overseen legendary wrestlers such as John Cena and Edge during his time at the top. One has to go as far back as 2019 to find an instance when The Tribal Chief was pinned.

And surprisingly enough it was Baron Corbin who holds that accomplishment. He might be enduring a difficult time in his career in the squared circle but the WWE superstar recently showed off his golf skills and with LPGA’s Lydia Ko no less.

Corbin recently shared a post on his Instagram featuring an image in which he can be seen having quality time on the golf course. The New Zealand golfer Ko is also present in the picture. The caption for the post read, “What a day of golf! Thank you @lpga_tour for letting me play with these amazing pros and great people! Defn the coolest group of the day!#lpga #golf.

It indeed was huge for the former King of The Ring Winner to test his skills against a woman professional golfer in the ilk of Ko. Moreover, it’s a crossover that not many would have expected. Corbin would be hoping to take some inspiration from the Kiwi and excel once again in his wrestling career.

WWE Legend on Roman Reigns’ Heel Turn: “They Can Make You Do It, the Way They Want”

He always has been near a massive push but things haven’t materialized as well as he would have liked. However, JBL’s former prodigy remains the last performer to have pinned the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

When was the last time Roman Reigns got pinned?

The two were involved in a long-drawn rivalry back in 2019. It saw both men being pitted against each other in a clash at TLC 2019 event.

And it might come as a shock to many, but Corbin got the better of The Head of The Table on that occasion. Granted that his victory was not clean as it involved interference from veteran Dolph Ziggler and The Revival who now perform as FTR in rival promotion AEW. 

Credit where it is due, Baron Corbin has achieved something that many of his peers can only dream of at the moment. And him playing Golf with Lydia Ko is certainly a big thing. But him being the last wrestler to pin Reigns remains near the top of his achievements in WWE.
