Prior to the start of NASCAR’s Coco-Cola 600 race, WWE superstar and veteran Lacy Evans made her presence. The Coco-Cola 600 also serves as the remembrance of America’s fallen heroes. Well, before Lacy Evan rose to prominence in WWE, she served as the United States Marine Corps’ military officer.

Since Evans served in the US military, she kicked off the grand Coco-Cola 600 in style as the honorary Grand Marshal. The 32-year-old Lacy Evans riled up the racing fans at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the four most famous words in motor sports.

During one of the biggest NASCAR races, Evans fired up the drivers with “DRIVERS, START YOUR ENGINES!” The WWE superstar did a fantastic job when she revved up the Coco-Cola 600 as honorary Grand Marshal.

Denny Hamlin won his first-ever Coco-Cola 600 as he survived a chaotic, five-hour-plus race that went to two overtimes. However, Raw commentator Corey Graves indicated that Hamlin’s victory was presumably because of Lacy Evans.

Graves said, “Congratulations to Denny Hamlin, who picked up a Big W yesterday. I think it’s probably because of Lacy’s presence.”

We can’t deny the commentator’s statement because Lacy Evans provoked the NASCAR Coco-Cola 600 drivers. But, among all the race drivers, Denny Hamlin probably took the “Drivers, start your engines” catchphrase to his heart.

During the overtime, Hamlin battled Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch to win the perhaps wildest Coco-Cola 600 race in history.
