Why did Vince McMahon get into so much trouble?
Stephanie explained the reason for the death threats. When ‘the Mac’ took over as chairman and CEO of the company in 1982, there were a bunch of regional wrestling promotions and territories all over the United States, and the WWF then was just one of them. However, Vince McMahon was not happy with this arrangement.

They didn’t take too kindly to that.”
