While WWE fans are most familiar with the rivalries in the field of professional wrestling but at times, some pure appreciation and admiration between the stars is a welcome sight.

One of the key stars of the WWE women’s roster, Asuka, has been on a roll since she booked the WrestleMania spot at WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 by surpassing five other super-powerful women after the high-voltage encounter.

A recent behind-the-scenes video depicts Batista complimenting Asuka as ‘awesome’, and ‘so good’. A humbled Asuka could barely say anything in return. This clip went viral and quite expectedly didn’t fail to catch fans’ eyes. Some of them acknowledge Asuka’s greatness as deserving of this praise from the legend himself. Others point out how the gem of a person, Batista, is to appreciate her that way.

Some even hail Asuka as one of the best female superstars in the company’s history, which may not be an exaggeration.

However, it is not the first time the former World Heavyweight Champion took a stand for Asuka. There are many instances where Batista publicly demonstrates his firm support to the Empress of Tomorrow. The most prominent one was when he protested against WWE for jobbing her out during the non-title match with the then Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley back in 2021.

The Animal didn’t think it was something that Asuka would deserve, hence he didn’t make refrain from raising his voice through a public Instagram post.

With WrestleMania approaching near, along with Batista, fans too are eagerly waiting to see the 41-year-old super-talented lady wrestler clinching victory on the biggest stage.
