The Judgement Day is one of the best stables in the WWE currently with Mami Rhea Ripley acting as a ruthless enforcer. Ripley is also dominating the Women’s division in the RAW brand. Though there have been challengers to her throne, none has proven to be a close contender.

Right now, Mami is busy feuding with another talented powerhouse Raquel Rodriguez for the title, but WWE Creative is looking for solid contenders to challenge Ripley. Amidst this, Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson’s cousin has made her intentions clear for a potential return by challenging Rhea Ripley.

Ex-WWE Champion wants Rhea Ripley to peg down a bit

Former WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax spoke to Sportskeeda WrestleBinge reporter Bill Apter about her views on the current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. She praised Mami for her work from NXT and Raw but suggested she might need to peg down a bit.

The Irresistible Force stated, “Rhea’s doing a great job. She’s kind of this rise. She might need to be knocked down a couple pegs”.

Nia Jax acknowledged the meteoric rise of Mami and her supremacy in the Women’s division. However, she suggested that Ripley needs to be brought down to the ground a bit. Ripley has been a star attraction at Raw through her singles feud in the Women’s division, her chemistry with Dirty Dom, and her actions as part of The Judgement Day.

She further added “I think she’s incredible. She’s so talented. I mean, I saw her when she first came up on the main roster. I even saw her in NXT. She’s got such a long list of talents she can do. I really enjoy watching her, especially standing up to the guys.”

Nia Jax acknowledged noticing Rhea Ripley from her NXT days. She appreciated Ripley for her talent, which was clear since her debut in a segment against Asuka in 2021. But her Mami gimmick has impressed Nia Jax a lot and how she stands up against male talents in the roster, something Nia Jax used to do as well.

But can this feud come to fruition? Jax revealed that she still hadn’t forgotten about Ripley after the Judgement Day member drew blood from her.

Nia Jax envisions a feud with Ripley

Nia Jax hinted at her WWE return by saying “I’ve had a match with Rhea once before, and she busted my eye open, so maybe I have to get a little payback. I don’t know, I think we’d have a good dogfight in there.”

She was referring to the singles match they had on Raw in 2021 before Summer Slam. Ripley kicked her from the turnbuckle and busted her eye open before winning the match with a surprise roll-up.

Nia Jax has been out of action since 2021. However, she featured in the Women’s Royal Rumble earlier this year, which was also won by Mami. She is currently training for a return to the WWE. Considering their beef from 2021, Nia Jax’s suggestion can be a good storyline for her return against Rhea Ripley.
