Ever since Seth Rollins became the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he has been on a title defense spree. After winning the bout in Saudi Arabia against AJ Styles and capturing the title, Rollins claimed successful defenses against The Miz and Damian Priest. In the recent episode of WWE RAW, a former rival challenged the 37-year-old at Money in the Bank.

The PLE is scheduled to take place at The O2 arena in London, UK. The challenger, however, left another message for The Monday Night Messiah, as he promised to exact revenge for a lost year.

Soon after Damian Priest’s loss to Rollins, the latter came face to face with Finn Balor, the leader of The Judgement Day stable. Balor and Rollins have a history together. They were part of the match that decided the inaugural WWE Universal Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2016. After a grueling contest, Balor triumphed over his opponent but was left with an injury.

A move by the 37-year-old left the Irish wrestler with a torn labrum, forcing him to relinquish his new title hours after winning it. His plight, however, wasn’t limited to that. The injury also forced him out of action for months. Now, Balor wants revenge!

On the June 12 episode of RAW, he told Seth Rollins exactly that, accusing the latter of taking away a year from his career. The current champion accepted Balor’s challenge on the spot as they booked a date at The O2 arena on July 2.

Meanwhile, Seth Rollins had a word of advice for 41-year-old Balor. Mocking his future opponent, he asked which version of Balor would appear against him for the proposed match. Rollins then went on to call him a “little b**ch”. However, he mentioned that the 2016 version of Balor would stand a chance against him.

But just after RAW, Seth Rollins made a strange admission on Twitter.

Is Seth Rollins going crazy?

As the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins is expected to defend his title anytime without prior notice. This is not just the case for him. Any and every superstar holding that belt will have to live by that stipulation. But Seth Rollins is shopping for opponents.

Days after winning it, he spoke about defending his belt against anyone from any brand, including NXT, WWE’s developmental territory. Now, the 37-year-old has let out an open challenge for the title, which, if accepted, will take place on the upcoming episode of RAW.

The challenge was issued via a tweet, in which he spoke about losing his mind. “Wildin’ in Wichita!! I could listen to y’all sing all night loooong. And…WHC Open Challenge next week in Cleveland.  I must have lost my d**n mind,” the tweet read.
