Seth Rollins is perhaps the busiest WWE superstar currently working on the roster. A few weeks ago, The Visionary landed a role in a big-budget Hollywood movie, which also marked his MCU debut. Just days later, Rollins pinned AJ Styles to win the newly unveiled WWE World Heavyweight Championship in Saudi Arabia and now, he’s looking for newer opponents.

Catching up with WWE’s The Bump podcast, the 37-year-old laid out his future plans, one that is likely to make WWE fans happy.

Rollins has always enjoyed the spotlight in WWE, since his NXT days. He was the inaugural champion in WWE’s developmental territory. When he graduated, Rollins was paired with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns for the heel faction The Shield. The menacing trio terrorized many wrestlers until they split a few years later.

But Rollins’ push wasn’t fortuitous. He was already a big name in the independent circuit by the time he reached the Stamford-based promotion and reaped the benefits of his hard work. Now, he’s looking for future superstars by training them. “I come to you a little subdued today, guys,” the new champion told the hosts. He said he’s not in his usual bathrobe as he’s busy training talents.

“…I’m down here, as you can see at the prestigious Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. We got a class ongoing over on the other side of this camera,” he added.

There is no doubt that Rollins, who is known for his wrestling acumen, will pick talents that’ll serve the WWE and pro wrestling in the future. Meanwhile, he took shots at one of his former stable mates.

The Monday Night Messiah accuses Roman Reigns of handpicking opponents

The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion wasn’t short of words about his Shield teammate Roman Reigns. The Bloodline leader has held his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for 1000 days. However, his critics have often pointed at Reigns’ greed to hold on to the belts. Just days ago, AJ Styles told the New York Post that WWE had to make another title as The Tribal Chief kept the existing titles to himself.

Now, Rollins has shared his take. “Just open it up. Roman Reigns hand-picks his opponents. You can see it. He’s been doing it for years,” he said. The 37-year-old said he’s not afraid to defend his belt against anyone, stating, “I don’t care if it’s SmackDown, RAW, NXT, I don’t care if it’s from anywhere across the globe.”

Rollins said he wants to raise the scene and is prepared to fight. Rollins now has a budding Hollywood career to tend to. Fans had already objected to him becoming a part-timer a few days ago. Will he succumb to it and fall prey to things he once chastised? Time will tell us.
