Karion Kross is in for another major push under Triple H

Steve Carrier, the founder of Ringside News, tweeted on October 9th a major update on former NXT Champion Karrion Kross. He tweeted, “Karrion Kross was brought back by Triple H, but WWE hasn’t done a lot with him yet. We are told that Karrion Kross is actually in line for a push at the moment.”

As per Steve Carrier, Karrion Kross was brought back to WWE under the regime of Triple H, but WWE Creative could not do much with him. But Steve Carrier confirmed that Kross is in for a major push at the moment. Ringside News reached out to WWE Creative to inquire about Kross. A tenured member of the Creative team responded by stating that Kross is in for a push at the moment.

Ever since Kross made his main roster debut in 2021 on the RAW episode of July 19, he has not lived up to his potential. He was a top performer when he was at NXT Gold and Black version under Triple H. But after his main roster call-up, Vince transformed him into the Gladiator gimmick that derailed Kross’ momentum.

However, Triple H has shown trust in Kross’ talent and decided to give him another run despite his previous failures. WWE has tried to push Kross with feuds against top talents like Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, and Rey Mysterio. But nothing has clicked for Kross till now. Nevertheless, an intriguing possibility lies ahead as Kross could face a marquee star next.

Karion Kross vs. John Cena, a possibility?

A few days back, rumors erupted among WWE fans that Karrion Kross is looking forward to a feud against John Cena. The source of the rumor was Instagram when John Cena posted a picture of Kross and he reciprocated by posting Cena’s picture on his story.

It all started when the 38-year-old posted on X and a fan commented if he’d like to retire Cena. Answering the fan’s question, Kross said that he’d be happy to do so. While Cena’s availability might prove to be a concern due to his Hollywood career, the feud could materialize in time for WrestleMania season. There’s no greater rub than facing Cena in the WWE and Triple H could work toward executing his plans with Kross after a memorable feud with John Cena.
