As Survivor Series 2023 approaches, Cody Rhodes gears up for his first WarGames match. The match is two weeks from now on 25th November. The classic match type will see The Judgment Day take on a team of Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn. In a recent podcast, Rhodes hinted at potential challenges and uncertainties in collaborating with Seth Rollins. 

Rollins and Rhodes share a storied rivalry which was a key highlight of 2022 in WWE. Hence, these two rivals teaming in a high-stakes match is an interesting proposition.

Cody Rhodes addresses Rollin’s drama and reveals an unpredictable strategy 

Survivor Series 2023 in Rosemont, Illinois, will showcase a WarGames for a second year running on the main roster. It will feature Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso against Judgment Day, following chaos on a recent Raw episode. In an interview on the Gabby AF podcast, Cody Rhodes discussed team dynamics.

Acknowledging the importance of a strong team, he admitted there’s always a potential weak link, even hinting that it might be him. Reflecting on his lack of WarGames experience, he said he will have to be guided by the more experienced members.

He said, “Jey and Sami Zayn have War Games experience. I can say, ‘Oh hey, my dad came up with the match.’ I’m sure there’ll be some beautiful tribute to him in regards to that but, I’ve never been in it, yeah. I’ve never been in it, so you know, uh, those… those two are probably gonna have to show me the way.” Rhodes also candidly expressed uncertainties about working with Seth Rollins, acknowledging the lack of love between them.

He added, “Seth Rollins, he and I absolutely don’t love each other. uh, I don’t know. I don’t have any heat with him but that’s always a tricky situation, uh, with… with Seth. But judging from the main event he just put on for Monday, he’s up to any challenge, he really is. I think the challenge will be can he and I work together, uh, but we’ll see gonna be interesting.”

Despite potential challenges, he’s excited about the upcoming WarGames match and eager to see if they can set aside their differences and collaborate effectively.

However, the lingering question remains: Can Rollins and Rhodes co-exist at WarGames?

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, despite their bitter history, are set to unite for WWE Survivor Series WarGames. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins’ intense feud traces back to Rhodes’ return to WWE at WrestleMania 38. Rhodes won that match and beat Rollins twice in two more encounters including the iconic Hell in a Cell match. It is possible that Rollins isn’t over his series of defeats against ‘The American Nightmare’.

Now, with Rollins holding the World Heavyweight Championship, the duo will join forces in the WarGames event, adding an intriguing layer to their storyline.
