However, recent news has emerged which might finally give the fans a sense of relief. On April 3rd, 2023, Endeavor announced that they had purchased WWE. It will now merge it into one sports entertainment company along with the UFC.

However, the latest reports from Wrestlenomics provides some wonderful news for the fans. It announced that despite McMahon getting to keep his position as the chairman of WWE, he will no longer have voting power over the creatives of the company. He will remain the executive chairman of WWE but will lose his voting control after the completion of the merger.

The report stated that Vince McMahon will hold 18% of the shares, while his daughter Stephanie McMahon will have 1.2% and Linda McMahon 0.4%. While the rest of the shares and power will reside with the Endeavor shareholders at 51%.

This might finally come as good news for the fans. After they were dreading McMahon’s return to the creative side of the company. The merger rumored to be around $21 billion is set to be completed later this year. And will see McMahon lose his voting rights.

With rumors of him running things backstage on Night 2 of WrestleMania, and on the RAW after that, fans were utterly disappointed with the results. However, with his latest reports, they finally have something to celebrate.
