“Another Layer of the Connection”- CM Punk Reveals the Touching Reason Behind Mysterious Sneaker Writings in AEW

CM Punk made his AEW debut back in August and has always been in the headlines ever since then. Not only are people talking about his switch from WWE to AEW, but also about his sneakers and the writings on them.
During his debut on Rampage, we saw “AC” and “CF” written on Punk’s shoes. However, this was not the only time we saw something written on Punk’s shoes. During his Dynamite debut, Punk had written “BD” and “BW” on his sneakers.
Ever since then, Punk‘s sneakers have been in talks and fans are yet to figure out what those writings mean.

Talking to the Complex, Punk revealed that he likes to have fun with people when he was asked about the writings on his sneakers. He then went on to praise the AEW fan base for the connection they have built with the AEW stars.
Punk said, “I think one of the great things, the connection that the wrestlers in AEW have with the fans is special. I like to have fun and throw little Easter eggs here and there.”
He added, “I’m scribbling on my shoes and people are trying to decode everything and it’s just another layer of the connection that we have to our fans, and it’s fun.”
Well, Punk seems to be back again in the wrestling ring with his aura and charm. Fans will surely be excited to find out what exactly did the writings on Punks shoes meant.

Punk got a thunderous reception, as people were excited to see the former WWE champion back in the wrestling world.

He then challenged Darby Allin to a match at AEW All Out and defeated the young AEW star. That match was Punk’s return to pro wrestling after seven long years.
Punk has made a promising start to his AEW career. But with the talents present in the AEW roster, it remains to be seen whether he can reach the same heights he once reached in WWE.
