Vince McMahon initially created the XFL in 2018. This was a successor to the league of the same name created in 2001. However, the league did not reach the heights of success that Mr. McMahon had envisioned. Plagued with controversy, the league went bankrupt in 2020. In August of the same year, Johnson bought the league and returned it to form in February 2023. Now, how does the XFL get its players when it comes to recruitment? The answer is simple.

XFL has several scouting consultants, including FBXChange and Inside the League. These help the XFL find the best free agents in the game. The evaluation of players takes months, with the consultants going through hours of college and pro game videos.

They identify the best pick and then send it to the Player Draft Pool. The XFL also sends their personnel team to NFL training camps. These camps help weed out the best players that enter the draft pool. The XFL contains eight teams located across the entire United States. Once the draft is filled, the players are sent to their respective teams. So, the best and easiest way to get noticed by the XFL is to work hard and earn a reputation that will grab the attention of the consultants.
