Rhea Ripley and her dominance in the RAW Women’s division crossed another hindrance after she defeated The Mexican Powerhouse Raquel Rodriguez in a brutal 14-minute match at Payback. The match had many painful spots for the two superstars, but none more painful than the one Ripley suffered.

After the match, Ripley posted an update through her Instagram account referring to her painful loss. She followed it up quickly with another update informing her fans of the replacement.

Rhea Ripley posted a couple of stories on her Instagram account related to her nose rings and piercings. The two stories she shared on 3rd September were related to her nose rings and piercings. She had lost a couple of her nose rings after her brutal fight with Raquel Rodriguez at Payback.

As per the video footage of the match, she might have lost it at the end of the match when both superstars were involved in exchanging slaps and punches. When Raquel Rodriguez delivered a running power slam to Dominik Mysterio, Ripley was checking her nose while lying on the mat.

One of the stories she posted had a caption “From 4 nose rings to 2. Imma fix this!” She was referring to the 2 nose rings she lost during the match (from her right nostril). A few hours later, she posted another story with the caption “Babies are back! When your piercings start to close you, just push a little harder”. Her new story was a referral to the new nose rings she got (one on her right nostril, another on her septum).

We widely know the Eradicator for her gothic-style appearance and her love for tattoos, piercings, leather apparel, and rings. However, her love for rings and piercings has often caused her many moments of pain, especially during her matches. This is not the first time the Judgement Day member suffered a similar loss.

Ripley bleeds, but it’s not her first

It is often that we are hurt the most when we lose the things we love the most. Such is the case with Ripley. One of the moments of Ripley bleeding during a match came on an episode of RAW in July this year, when she battled former Champion Natalya. After the match, she posted on social media that her inner lip piercing was ripped off. During the broadcast, blood can be seen flowing from her mouth.

She had suffered a similar incident during her match against Liv Morgan and Natalya during an episode of Raw when her inner piercing busted open. Blood flowing out of her mouth was visible when she got locked in a sharpshooter by Natalya.
