The four horsewomen of WWE have done a lot of progress in terms of women’s wrestling in the biggest sports entertainment company. Among them, Bayley has taken the role of preparing the new generation to take their places. While Becky Lynch has amazing programs with everyone, Sasha Banks has tremendous matches, and Charlotte Flair is the best face on a championship, Bayley is here to foster new talent.

All her career, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion has elevated the entire women’s division. Whether it was back in her Role Model days or her current work with Damage CTRL, she loves working and putting over new faces. But that might be ending soon.

With Vince McMahon coming back to lead the creative, it’s looking like many superstars are unhappy about it. Prime among them is Bayley, who, under the Triple H regime, was able to come back and elevate Dakota Kai and Io Shirai. But behind-the-scenes sources have come out saying that it isn’t true.

However, her recent post might contradict that fact. Captioned, “Are you doin’ this work to facilitate growth or to become famous? Which is more important?“, is a line taken from rapper J. Cole’s single, the climb back. The rap song dwells into rediscovering the love one had for the artform before they became famous for it.

Additionally, her fellow wrestlers like Indi Hartwell and Natalya refer to Bayley as Pam, a nickname for her real name, Pamela Martinez. This could be a hint that these wrestlers also think the leader of Damage CTRL is leaving WWE.

They used her real name as she will have to leave the Bayley name because of intellectual property contracts, or it could just be the wrestlers using her real name out of familiarity. But why does everyone think Bayley is leaving as Vince McMahon is going to take over the creative in WWE?

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Bayley made it clear that Damage CTRL would not exist if McMahon was in charge. It was only because Triple H took over and let Bayley the freedom with the group that the faction exists.

In the interview, she also mentions that this faction was an idea she had in mind for years, but it only got approved after Hunter allowed it. With McMahon coming back, it could be that he orders Damage CTRL to disband immediately. These are just some reasons that people think Bayley is quitting.
