Bobby Lashley Still Hopeful of a MMA Showdown Against Brock Lesnar in WWE: “I Think He Feels the Same Way”

The WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is still not over with Brock Lesnar. Following his win against the Beast Incarnate at the 2022 Royal Rumble, Lashley feels a one-on-one rematch against Lesnar is still on the cards. But he has a special stipulation in mind this time.
‘The Almighty’ wants to face Brock Lesnar in a Fight Pit match. A Fight Pit match is a rare sight in professional wrestling. Though it has taken place twice on WWE NXT, a Fight Pit match is yet to take place on the main roster.
In a Fight Pit match, the ring is surrounded by a steel cell instead of ropes and turnbuckles. And the only way to win is by submission, or if your opponent cannot stand up at a 10-count.

Recently, in an interview with Bleacher Report, Bobby Lashley expressed his desire to fight Brock Lesnar in an MMA-style cage match rather than in a Street Fight match.
He said, “The only thing that doesn’t interest me is a Street Fight. I think what I can do with [my fists] is going to be more brutal than what I can do with a kendo stick or with a table or with a chair. I don’t think we even need that, and I think [Brock Lesnar] feels the same way.”
“So many people want to see it that a Fight Pit would be cool. Put on some MMA gloves and get in a cage,” Lashley added.
Even though it won’t be a Fight Pit match, Lashley and Lesnar will once again cross paths at the 2022 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
