When someone says bodybuilding, arguably the first name that pops into one’s mind is Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Austrian Oak has definitely made himself a legendary figure in the world of bodybuilding.
Schwarzenegger has always been a great friend to many professional wrestlers. Moreover, he trained with several wrestlers back in the day. One of those wrestling legends once talked about Arnie’s dedication to bodybuilding, which amazed him.

A few years ago, Superstar Billy Graham appeared on ‘The Hannibal TV’ for an interview. He recalled a few stories of Arnold Schwarzenegger when they use to work out together in the gym.
Graham said, “Oh, Arnold was so driven. Arnold Schwarzenegger was so driven, so focused on bodybuilding. It was all mental. The drive that he had and the focus that he had was beyond anything or anybody I had ever seen. I had trained, and trained, and trained hard but nothing compared to the dedication that Arnold had. I’ve never seen that before in my life.”
They both trained for several years together. Moreover, Billy Graham is one of those wrestlers whose physique amazed Schwarzenegger as he said in his WWE Hall of Fame speech. Graham’s biceps measured 22-inches while The Governator’s biceps were around 20-inches.

Arnold Schwarzenegger met Superstar Billy Graham in 1969 when he first came to the USA for a competition. He remembers that moment because Schwarzenegger had lost to Frank Zane in a physique contest.

In the same interview, Billy Graham shared that Arnie never wanted to pursue a wrestling career after bodybuilding. Schwarzenegger always wanted to become an actor and pursue a career in Hollywood. However, Graham stated The Austrian Oak couldn’t speak proper English to become an actor.
The WWE Hall of Famer said, “I was just really impressed and even more impressed when he told me he is gonna be a movie star. I said Arnold, you’re gonna be a movie star, he told me this early on, ‘I’m gonna be a movie star and I said, ‘You can’t even speak English, Arnold.’ He had a hard time with English.

Graham recalled telling Schwarzenegger that he’ll never be a movie star because he can’t speak English. Moreover, he also helped Arnie to enroll in Santa Monica Community College.
However, he credited Schwarzenegger for learning English and making it to the top in Hollywood too. It impressed Graham all that Arnold Schwarzenegger achieved what he said he would.

The former WWE Champion also shared that Arnie is his daughter’s godfather. Moreover, as per Graham, Schwarzenegger took this seriously and was always in touch with his daughter.
