Bray Wyatt Documentary: Here’s Everything You Can Expect From “Becoming Immortal” After Triple H Announcement

The Internet wrestling community was left in shambles when Windham Rotunda a.k.a Bray Wyatt’s untimely demise was announced back in August 2023. The cause of his death was a heart condition that was exacerbated by a COVID-19 infection. Since then, fans have been rallying so that Wyatt could earn a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. While there are no official announcements regarding that, WWE’s COO, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque decided to honor the late star in a very special way. Here’s everything you need to know and everything you can expect from his documentary.

Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal

The official announcement was made on March 18, 2024, by Triple H. The documentary will begin streaming on Peacock on April 1, 2024. The show has two special narrators. Mark Callaway a.k.a The Undertaker and Wyatt’s brother Taylor Rotunda a.k.a Bo Dallas will narrate The Fiend‘s story. Along with the two very special narrators, the show will also feature interviews with some exceptional stars.

The stars who will be seen in the documentary include Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Becky Lynch, & Triple H, amongst many unconfirmed stars. While all these stars have closely observed him, John Cena had the opportunity to wrestle with him back in 2020 at WrestleMania 36.

Cena also got the chance to experience Wyatt’s creativity firsthand as the two worked on the Firefly Funhouse match that garnered plaudits for its uniqueness

Fans are quite familiar with Bray Wyatt and his characters. So the question is, what will WWE be focusing on with this documentary?

Celebrating a creative genius

It is safe to assume that Bray Wyatt was one of the few talents who could conjure characters and gimmicks out of thin air. Seth Rollins had stated in an interview how easily Wyatt could suspend the audience in disbelief. He was able to do so with almost any character he could come up with. On top of that, fans could agree that he could pull off these characters with ease. Whether it being The Fiend or the Firefly Funhouse Bray Wyatt, one thing that everyone loved and admired about him was the ease with which he was able to switch between these characters.

The official description of the documentary highlights many aspects of his life. “Bray Wyatt is one of the most revered and mysterious characters in WWE history.” The documentary will try to explore the man behind many characters, Windham Rotunda. “Using never-before-seen interviews and exclusive backstage footage, Windham Rotunda’s inspiring story unfolds.”  The purpose of the documentary is to have a look at his rise to fame and his share of struggles that come with  “being a creative visionary.” Are you excited about the Bray Wyatt documentary?
