WWE fans could soon see the return of Brock Lesnar before the end of this year. Lesnar was last seen at SummerSlam when he faced Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed Universal Championship. He lost the match and bid goodbye to the fans afterward. But he could return to WWE sooner than expected and this time it’s for a historic match.

The company is set to return to Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel event on November 5. WWE usually brings out all the big guns for their shows in the Gulf nation. In the past, we have seen the likes of Goldberg, The Undertaker, Triple H, and other big names wrestle at these events.

With ‘The Beast’ being one of the biggest draws in the business right now, it would make sense to have him on the match card in Riyadh.

WWE has an unexpected title match lined up for Brock Lesnar

While the fans could’ve expected Brock Lesnar to return and go into a match for the World title or something similar, it turns out WWE has different plans.

WWE has already booked an Undisputed Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and celebrity Logan Paul, and it looks like this will not be the only unexpected title match at the event.

As per Xero News, the company is pushing for Brock Lesnar to work the event and wrestle against Bobby Lashley.

Given the fact that Lashley is the current United States Champion, this match could be for the title. This will also be a rematch from their Royal Rumble bout earlier this year.

A marquee main event attraction like Lesnar wrestling for the U.S title is both surprising and a pretty big deal.

It is quite unthinkable that Lesnar, who has remained in the main event scene since his early WWE days, could compete for a mid-card title. This will be the first time that the ‘Conqueror’ could challenge for the United States Championship.

A match between Lashley and Lesnar will be a massive draw for WWE, given their history and MMA background. While this match could come as a surprise to many, this will be in line with Triple H’s vision of elevating the mid-card titles to a level closer to the World Championship.
