The WWE Universe witnessed the second-most shocking moment of 2024 on Friday Night SmackDown. Just the way Dwayne Johnson had slapped Cody Rhodes for insulting his family, Rhodes returned the favor today when the Rock brought up his family. However, while this dropped a hint to the fans that talking will be off the table now, The Rock seems to have something else on his mind.

Dwayne Johnson is probably one of the sharpest and most prolific trash talkers in history and he definitely got under Rhodes’s skin. However, The Rock has chosen to not stop with the insults and continue taking digs at the American Nightmare. Instead, he has now traveled to a whole other state and city to throw more shade at Rhodes.

After Johnson slapped Rhodes at the WrestleMania 40 kickoff event, fans expressed their anger on social media. The Rock continued to taunt Rhodes in today’s Smackdown episode, even calling him a mistake. In retaliation, Cody slapped The Rock, giving him a long overdue receipt. The Rock had uploaded a strong challenge to Rhodes and Rollins by uploading a video on X

“The chicken sh*t goof, you, and also your goofy-*ss dog, Pharoah, that’s his name. Hey, Pharoah! Hey, Pharoah! Don’t call that dog Pharoah; call him s**thead. That’s what you should call him,” said Johnson.  He referred to Rhodes’ dog, Pharaoh, using derogatory language.

He also went on to say, “Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, sh**head, and all the Cody cry babies out there, and Standards and Practices, you listen to The Rock right now. When The Rock has that microphone, live as the People’s Champion, The Rock will, and will always and forever, tell it like it is.” It was clear how eager he was to convey his challenge.

He also continued, “So, Cody, Seth, cry babies, and that sh**head dog of yours, Pharoah, Standards and Practices, off. It’s a direction you can f**k.” Rock did not mince his words out while promoting SmackDown in Texas in the video.

This is not it when Dwayne Johnson insulted Rhodes’s dog and after Rhodes slapped him, his wife took to Twitter to reply.

Brandi Rhodes replies to Dwayne Johnson getting slapped

Brandi Rhodes, a former AEW star, took a jab at The Rock after he slapped Cody Rhodes turning heel in the process. The incident occurred at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff press event in Las Vegas, causing a stir in the wrestling industry.

Before SmackDown, The Rock posted the above-mentioned 10-minute clip on social media, further mocking Cody Rhodes and his dog Pharoah. Following the controversial segment, Brandi Rhodes took to Twitter, seemingly revealing the reason behind The Rock’s slap.
