Still, Zayn was not entirely recognized by the WWE Universe until now. His current role in ‘The Bloodline’ storyline has impressed the fans a lot and they are considering it a game changer in Sami’s career.

Recently, Dax Harwood, formerly known as Scott Dawson in WWE, talked about Sami Zayn on his FTR podcast. During the podcast, he recalled his first meeting with Sami. And, shared an incident that involved cops saying that he didn’t like the former ‘Honorary Uce’ initially.

While talking about Sami, Dax Harwood said, “Sami and I, we were really good friends and he traveled with us a few times, one of my favorite traveling partners, too. I knew the drive and determination he had from the beginning…..I mean, I did not like him when I first met him. We had our tryout together in June of 2012 and I told him this story. But some issues happened and we were all in a hotel together and cops came and started knocking on all of our doors, and he and I almost saw me simultaneously opened the door at the same time. And he said, do you know where this guy is? And I said, no, I don’t know where this guy is. He said, well, you need to find out where he is and he slammed the door.”

Harwood continued that he didn’t like Sami’s words, and it left a bad impression of Sami on him.

“And I’m like, this motherf**ker, you know what I mean? You don’t tell me what to do……I don’t care if you’ve been a ROH Champion or whatever you are, you don’t tell me what to do. So I had a bad taste in my mouth.”

With his current run in WWE, Sami Zayn is winning fans’ hearts. He is set to face the ‘Tribal Chief’ and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in front of his home crowd at the WWE pay-per-view Elimination Chamber. 

WWE Universe was already into Sami Zayn when he joined ‘The Bloodline’ as ‘Honorary Uce’, but with his betrayal at Royal Rumble, fans went crazy. The current angle in the storyline of Sami and ‘The Bloodline’ is one of the major highlights of WWE these days. 

Sami was merely a part of any main event matches before. However, this time, Sami will be facing Roman Reigns in the main event of the Elimination Chamber. Now, it would be interesting to see if Zayn will be able to get a victory over the ‘Tribal Chief’ or not.
