Australian fans were pretty hot with their reactions throughout the Elimination Chamber 2024 PLE. Right from the pre-show match until the main event, which had Rhea Ripley, Chief Content Officer Triple H announced the attendance for the night at 52,590 in the Optus Stadium. The main event ended with Mami retaining her title against Nia Jax, and fans in the stadium were looking for the same outcome as they seemed to be celebrating happily with her. But how did her fellow Judgement Day members perform? Let’s look at things that you may have missed during the action-packed PLE.

-Damian Priest

Finn Balor and Damian Priest were defending their undisputed WWE tag team championships against Pete Dunne and Tylor Bate. Though the team name is recent, Bate and Dunne have a long history not only in NXT UK but also in independent wrestling. During the match, Damian Priest appeared to have botched it, which was very evident. He was supposed to hit his teammate Balor accidentally, but he made it very obvious.

-The audience welcomed Dominik with middle fingers, which forced the production team to black the screen out.

Dirty Dominik Mysterio was with The Judgement Day for their match against Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate. Rowdy Australian fans were quick to boo Mami’s “Latino Heat.” Even before he could speak, fans made it very clear with their actions that, unlike Ripley, Dominik won’t be shown any love down under. Apparently, WWE had to black out certain fan sections to censor non-PG gestures towards Dirty Dom. The two-time North American Champion was also on the receiving end of some non-PG chants. With each passing day, stocks of heel Dominik Mysterio are increasing amongst the fans.

AJ Styles nearly fell on the chair while making an unscheduled appearance

AJ Styles was not scheduled to appear during PLE. But he did and continued his rivalry with LA Knight, who was inside the Chamber. The Phenomenal One used a steel chair to injure Knight and helped McIntyre, who took advantage of this opportunity and eliminated Knight. While Styles attacked, he was about to trip on the chair but saved himself. While ambushing Knight, Styles also looked uncomfortable, dragging Knight around the ring before delivering his finisher.

What Is the Beef Between Randy Orton & Logan Paul? Here’s All You Need to Know

– Logan Paul graffitiing ‘Kevin Owens sucks’ on his pod

Logan Paul expressed his bratishness during the Elimination Chamber match. He was the last person to enter the match. The 28-year-old did not disappoint points and kept them entertained with his constant jabs at other participants. First, he made non-PG drawings to mock McIntyre and got a befitting reply from the Scottish warrior. The US Champion then mocked Kevin Owens by drawing a disfigured human drawing and writing around it.

Ripley was crying while making her entrance.

Australia’s own Rhea Ripley was defending her title in the main event. As soon as her music hit, fans erupted from their seats. Mami looked quite confident while walking down the ramp and also shouted “Aussie Aussie Aussie.” Her family was sitting in the front row ringside, and that’s when she got a little emotional. When Ripley entered the ring, the moment may have hit her and what it means to her main event in her own country. She quickly returned to having a quirky personality and ended up retaining her gold in a hard-fought match.

With the elimination chamber done, the path to WrestleMania XL is clear for a few. McIntyre and Lynch are the number-one contenders. We still don’t know The Rock’s plan for Mania. Which other superstars do you think deserve an opportunity to compete at WrestleMania XL? Comment down below.
