The disconcerting updates about Jerry Lawler’s health are yet to relent. After suffering a heart stroke in early 2023, recent reports regarding The King’s condition are bound to make his fans worried. While a lot hasn’t been disclosed about what’s causing him to experience the attacks, WWE legend Jim Ross said earlier this year that his doctors may have identified the issues. Though the WWE Hall of Famer added that his friend wasn’t out of the woods yet.

Now, Lawler has pulled out of an event, raising worry among his fans and well-wishers.

Unfortunately, the WWE Hall of Famer won’t attend it. According to Martin Damato of the aforementioned company, Lawler has pulled out of the event as he will not be able to travel.

“We have to understand that Jerry health comes first and unfortunately he has to pull out and is just unable to travel and do these types of things right now,” Damato’s post on Facebook read.

While it’s not clear whether Lawler has taken the step as a precautionary measure or has experienced another attack, the news surely adds to the grim that has been associated with his health since early 2023.

Meanwhile, Lawler may have uncovered the reason behind his previous heart attack, which took place on air on the September 10, 2012 edition of WWE RAW.

The WWE Hall of Famer received a raucous reception upon his return to WWE two months after suffering a heart attack on air. While his ailment was referred to as an ‘unexplained cardiac arrest’ The King lifted the lid on the same and pinned the blame on a co-worker.

Speaking to RAW Talk in 2022, Lawler said it was Dolph Ziggler who caused him the scare. Well, before the heart attack, Lawler teamed up with Randy Orton to take on the pair of CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler.

After the match, he started showing signs of discomfort and later experienced the ailment.

Lawler said he was hit with 10 elbows by Ziggler during their match, which caused his heart to stop. He even appreciated Baron Corbin for picking up a win against Ziggler following an intense match on the October 17, 2022 episode of RAW.
