While some expected Reigns to feud with a WWE legend this time around, the promotion quickly announced that Knight is indeed going to face Reigns at Crown Jewel 2023.

Appearing on his Hall of Fame Podcast, the former WWE wrestler gave his thoughts on a situation where LA Knight hypothetically wins a championship.

You don’t want to wait till tomorrow to capitalize on something like late night because that fire is going to burn out,” said the legend. According to him, it would be beneficial for the Stamford-based company to let Knight win because of how ‘hot’ he currently is with fans.

To add fuel to the fire, the decorated SmackDown star publicly called out his rival for not showing up in WWE often. With this, he also challenged him to appear on the next Friday Night show on the 27th of October. This is when the two are expected to sign the contract for their match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
