Dwayne Johnson’s Daughter Ava Gets Major Praise From Returning WWE Star

After a failed attempt at wrestling, Dwayne Johnson’s daughter Ava Raine got a major boost to her confidence within weeks of her new role. In her new role as the on-screen general manager for NXT, she helps assist the talent and officials. As a token of appreciation for her services, a returning WWE superstar at NXT has thanked Ava Raine through a special dedicated video on social media.
Robert Stone thanks Ava Raine for a match opportunity
Former WWE wrestler turned NXT manager Mr Stone took to X on February 12th to post a message thanking fellow NXT Manager Ava Raine. The tweet read, “Thanks @WWE and Ava for this opportunity to be a hero for my kids.” The moment in reference happened after Ava announced a tag team match featuring Von Wagner and Robert Stone on one side of the ring and Noam Dar and Oro Mensah on the other.

Interestingly, Robert Stone was a manager who has recently returned to in-ring wrestling while Ava Raine is a newly inducted performer who is a wrestler turned manager. Stone was ecstatic with the news as he too wanted some in-ring action.

In the clip, Stone says, “So, first of all, I want to say, props and thanks to Ava and the WWE for making this match happen. And by this match, I mean, tomorrow, we’re 24 hours out for me and Von vs. Noam Dar and Oro.”
Though this isn’t his first match, it will be his first match in WWE since his return. He further explained why this match was so special. He said, “This is the first time ever my 7-year-old twins are going to be watching me.” Stone further explained that he would be looking forward to winning the match as the opponents have a 2-0 upper hand over him and Von.

He referenced his sons as a source of motivation for his match by stating how this would be their first live match featuring their father. However, his sons aren’t alone as many WWE fans do not know much about him.
For those who don’t know Mr. Stone, he is a former professional wrestler who wrestled for WWE as Rob Eckos in 2005. He is known for his time at Impact Wrestling. Despite a semi-long career in the indie circuit, he retired from in-ring action early as he found wrestling to be a hard-hitting job. Hence, he turned towards a different role. He came back to WWE in 2019 where he worked as a manager known as Mr. Stone.
