Feuds in the WWE have gone up a notch since Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson started his beef with Cody Rhodes at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff show. However, since he took this feud online via his social media, everything was dialed up to 11. Not only did Johnson target Rhodes and his pet dog, but he also went after Rhodes’ brother, father, and especially his mother, Michelle Rubio. While he mentioned her on social media, it was his last appearance in Memphis, where he delved deeper into it. Now, ahead of the highly anticipated match at Mania, The Rock continues his torment of Rhodes’ mother.

Dwayne Johnson announces a special belt for Cody Rhodes’ mother ahead of WWE RAW appearance

Taking the ring in Memphis, The Rock brought back his The Rock concert from 2003 and cut a promo. This promo continued what he said on social media about the Royal Rumble winner talking about his mother. During RAW, Rhodes claimed that he wanted to give the WWE Universal Championship belt to his mother after winning it. However, Johnson claimed he had another belt for The American Nightmare and his mother. He even showcased this belt in Memphis and the belt in question was his workout weight belt. Johnson claimed that he was going to beat the former AEW star with the belt, and once covered with his blood, he would give it to Rhodes’ mother.

Taking to Instagram Johnson posted a promotional video for his upcoming appearance on WWE RAW. He wrote, “Mama Rhodes ~ The Rock has a very special belt being made just for you.” This is the same belt he showcased in Memphis. If Rhodes and Seth Rollins can’t beat Johnson and Roman Reigns on Night #1, this belt may come into play. The Rock continued, “Your tears. Cody’s blood. My hands.” This mirrors what he said during his promo. The accompanying video was a recap of his promo in Memphis.
