Becky Lynch returned at WWE SummerSlam 2021 and defeated Bianca Belair to become the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. However, the fans aren’t happy about this at all!

According to Ryan Satin, every time the clip played in the WWE Raw: August 23rd, 2021 arena, the fans erupted in a series of boos. Nobody liked the fact that The Man returned to WWE after a long break and completely squashed The EST of WWE.

Considering the way Bianca Belair has conducted herself as champion, it wasn’t fair to her to lose the way she did. A fight would have been better, but WWE booked a poor segment where Lynch defeated Belair in under a minute. This infuriated the fans, and even former WWE Superstars.

Bianca Belair arrived at the SummerSlam 2021, and was waiting for Sasha Banks, the challenger, to come out. WWE announced Banks could not compete, and her replacement would be Carmella.

After Carmella arrived at the ring, the duo were just preparing to wrestle when Becky Lynch appeared! The crowd erupted; Belair was pumped, and Carmella was shocked.

The Man took out Carmella and returned to the ring. She asked Belair if she would like to wrestle Lynch, keeping the title on the line. The EST of WWE thought about it for a minute and then agreed!

What is next for Becky Lynch in WWE?

Considering she is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion, Lynch will have to defend the title against quite a few superstars.

First, former Champion Bianca Belair will want her revenge. Therefore, technically, there should be a rematch. However, it’s unknown if WWE will immediately book a rematch or not.

Second, Sasha Banks could want a match against Becky Lynch because, technically, it was supposed to be Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks at SummerSlam 2021. Sasha Banks couldn’t be present at the event, allowing Lynch to fill her shoes.

Therefore, The Boss could want a match against The Man!

Another way forward could be a potential triple threat match between Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, and current champion Becky Lynch. However, as of now, WWE is yet to confirm who will be Lynch’s first challenger.
