The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns has been the holder of the most prestigious WWE championship belt for a very long time now. But, while the leader of The Bloodline may be ahead in the company ladder, fans have voted for another WWE Superstar for a major annual honor.

Reigns’ former ‘more-than-blood’ brother Seth Rollins has bagged the highest votes from the WWE Universe and bagged the 2023 Wrestler of the Year title. A social media post broke the news of Rollins’ massive achievement, as the former Shield member surpassed Reigns. Readers of PWI voted for their favorites and according to the results, Rollins was awarded Wrestler of the Year, with Rhea Ripley announced as Woman of the Year.

This is a big blow to WWE’s absentee champion Roman Reigns who only fights during PLEs and is usually nowhere to be found. Although The Wiseman Paul Heyman has been controlling the fire for a long time, Seth Rollins has effectively replaced Reigns. In fact, Reigns also lost the Most Popular Wrestler award to Cody Rhodes. What are your thoughts on this?
