Five Months After Returning to AEW, Kenny Omega Hints at a New Controversy All Over Again, “I Have a Huge Problem”

It’s been over six months since the massive AEW All-Out backstage brawl took place. It involved Kenny Omega, and CM Punk, among others. It resulted in the on-screen absence of talents involved, for a varied time. However, Omega found his way back to the roster soon. And it took him no time to engage fans in one more altercation. 

Amidst the heated tension and drama going on in the AEW locker room currently, the Canadian-born wrestler is dropping some engrossing comments. Lately, he is engaged in a storyline feud with one stable of AEW, the Blackpool Combat Club. The members of the stable even attacked Omega on the March 29 episode of Dynamite. But now it seems the tables have turned as The Elite took their revenge. To spice up things more, the former AEW World Champion decided to ‘spill some beans’.

Taking it to Twitter, the AEW star blows a gaff while promoting The Elite’s segment on AEW Dynamite happening on Wednesday. The 39-year-old quite smartly attracted the attention of fans towards him and his storyline that’s going against The Blackpool Combat Club. 

In the tweet, he wrote, “Since everyone is asking, I’ll spill the beans… I have a huge problem with certain people on our roster – And they happen to be members of the Blackpool Combat Club! I’ll speak more about it Wednesday on #AEWDynamite

Since the topic of CM Punk coming to AEW has been discussed heavily in the wrestling community, after reading the first half of Omega’s tweet fans many have thought he is stirring the pot about Punk but as we see he’s mentioning his ongoing in-ring feud with BCC, that consists of Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli(Cesaro) and Wheeler Yuta.

As per the recent reports of Fightful Select, the potential return of The Straight Edge Superstar is pretty close. Not only does the report reveal the date of Punk’s return, but his pitched plans as well. 

The report mentions the AEW Dynamite episode in Chicago at Wintrust Arena on June 21 to be the return of CM Punk. Along with this, it also sheds light on his willingness to work with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.
