“F**king Stupid”: Major Cody Rhodes Entrance Moment Lambasted by Kevin Nash Despite Strong Crowd Support

During his first stint in WWE, Cody Rhodes used Jim Johnston’s “Smoke and Mirrors” as his entrance theme. This changed when he left the company in 2016 and began using Downstait’s Kingdom at companies such as IMPACT Wrestling, AEW, NJPW, and ROH, until his return to the WWE. And he hasn’t been the same ever since he changed his music.
The fans love the song by Downstait, and a major part of Rhodes’ entrance is the “Whoa” that he does along with every fan in the arena. But apparently, it looks like Kevin Nash is not a big fan of the entrance and does not understand the logic behind it, as he recently revealed.

In a clip that is going viral on the internet, Kevin Nash talks about the American Nightmare’s entrance. Not mincing his words, Nash reveals that he finds his entrance stupid. He said, “Okay so Cody comes to the ring, and he asks to f**kin pound his fists and you got to give that “Whoooaaaa” (in tune to Rhodes’ theme). You know what I pound my fists on? What’s next? “Whaaaaa” (definitely out of tune). I mean, the day that I went to f**kin something to get that involved. Jesus, I went to the Rocky Horror Picture show and walked out halfway through it. What the f*ck is everybody screaming about. It’s so f**kin stupid.”

And while several fans disagreed in the comment section of the video, many called him ‘salty’ for not being as successful as Rhodes. Some even claimed that he always bad-mouths modern superstars and still acts like a bully from his NWO days. But what if we tell you that there is a modern-day superstar Kevin Nash is a fan of? Who you may ask? Well, it is none other than Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.

Kevin Nash calls Rollins the modern-day Randy Savage
Undoubtedly, one superstar who has marked and continues to mark an era in WWE is Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has achieved everything in the company, besides clinching several championships he has also achieved several historic feats. Some of the more notable achievements include being the winner of the Royal Rumble, winning the Money in the Bank and becoming a Grand Slam Champion, etc.
So back in 2023, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash was chatting on his podcast called Kliq This. On the podcast, the former WWE star mentioned that he wasn’t a big fan of Seth Rollins’ character at first. However, he realized that his character is comparable to WWE legend ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage. He said, “I didn’t like Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins’ character for quite a while. Then I just realized in the last two months that he’s kind of like the modern-day Macho [Randy Savage]. He has the glasses and he’s got kind of a Macho Man vibe. If you were to modernize Macho Man, it’d be Seth. Plus, he can work his f**king a*s off; he’s really f**king good”

Well, for now, it is Rhodes who is the champion, while Rollins will have to earn the gold again. With several other contenders in the way, it would be fun to see how Rollins carved his way out again. What do you think of Nash’s opinion of Rhodes and Rollins? Let us know in the comments.
