The Top Dog in the WWE right now is without a doubt The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. You can feel the energy even when you are watching at home as Roman Reigns makes his entry into a packed arena. Such is the aura of The Tribal Chief. But all this didn’t just happen overnight, it has taken almost a decade. And an ex-arch nemesis of Roman Reigns who has seen his growth over the years recently praised him for his achievements.

This ex-WWE champion has locked horns with Reigns multiple times and it has never been an easy battle.

Roman Reigns made his main roster debut in 2012 as a member of the villainous faction, The Shield. Even there he was the leader right from the get-go. As part of The Shield, Reigns terrorized many superstars, including heavyweights like Kane, John Cena, and even The Undertaker.

After Seth Rollins’ betrayal of The Shield, Reigns started wrestling solo. He tasted his first championship win at Survivor Series by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Sadly, Sheamus immediately cashed in his MITB contract and defeated Reigns. Thus giving him his championship glory only for 5 minutes.

Post that, Reigns went on to win all the championships that the WWE had to offer, even winning the WWE Championship 4 times to date. And currently, Reigns holds the record for being the longest reigning champion of the 21st century with his 1,136+ day unbeaten title run. He is just 340 days away from beating ‘The Hulkster’ Hulk Hogan.

And someone who has been closely seeing his progress right from day 1 is his arch-rival and ex-WWE champion, Kofi Kingston. Kingston has had many battles with The Tribal Chief and is genuinely happy about his current success in the WWE. In his recent interview with the Toronto Sun, Kingston praised Reigns for always being himself. He said, “I think Roman has done a fantastic job. If you go back and look what Roman started off as and what he is now, the difference is legitimate night and day. Being able to be yourself is, I think, the key to really going to the next level and really immersing yourself in your character.”

But as The Tribal Chief reaches new heights of success every day, his new challenger might just snatch his title away from him at Crown Jewel.

Fans were gung-ho to see LA Knight and Roman Reigns in the same ring last time on SmackDown. They knew very well that a title bout would be coming soon.

And what made these hopes even stronger was Reigns spearing Knight after he beat Solo Sikoa. Thus clearly sending a warning message to Knight.

Everyone’s excited to see how the trash-talking king is gonna confront Reigns after last week’s dastardly attack. Fans are praying that tonight, Knight challenges Reigns for his title at Crown Jewel. Will that happen? We will only have to wait and watch.
