Heyman’s newest client Roman Reigns faces Christian’s best friend, Edge, at WrestleMania. That dream match is in jeopardy with Daniel Bryan trying to squeeze his way into a WrestleMania main event. Despite that, Heyman’s primary focus remains the Rated-R Superstar.
“Edge, your best friend in this world knew he was going to become Roman Reigns’ target just to get into your head. What did he do? He ran away before Roman Reigns could target him. How many of your ‘Christians’ need to convert before you realize it’s not smart to piss off Roman Reigns? You, Edge, have pissed off Roman Reigns.”
This verbal barb aimed at Edge did as much damage to Captain Charisma as well. It should upset WWE that their most decorated star joined a rival promotion, warranting the reaction from Paul Heyman. This might seem petty, but kudos to Paul Heyman for maintaining kayfabe in the most delicate and fourth wall-breaking promos.

Daniel Bryan defeated Jey Uso in a terrific steel cage match to become the No.1 Contender for the WWE Universal Championship. On the recent episode of SmackDown, Bryan and Reigns signed the contract for their match at Fastlane. However, things took a twist when Bryan angered Reigns and Jey Uso.
Uso claimed he will be the enforcer around the ring during their match at Fastlane, but the Rated-R Superstar had other ideas. Edge marched down to the ring and announced his intention to face Jey next week; the winner becomes the enforcer for the Fastlane match.
