Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest movie stars in the world right now. His name is synonymous with big box office blockbusters. His upcoming venture into the superhero world seems like another sure hit. But this time, The Rock wants more than just acting.

The scope and length of Justice League: Snyder Cut transformed the movie industry. Seeing eagerness for a 4-hour movie confused a lot of heads in the production house. While DC may have revealed its intentions to scrap Snyder’s take on the DC Universe, Dwayne Johnson might have different intentions.

Sources reveal the intentions of Dwayne Johnson with DC movies

Back in 2021, sources revealed that Dwayne Johnson had intentions to produce the sequel to 2013’s Man of Steel. Starring as Black Adam in the upcoming movie, DJ is a part of the DCEU now. And he wants Henry Cavill’s Superman to go one-on-one against the ruler of Khandaq in the sequel.

And like every action star, The Rock wants to work with Zack Snyder. A man who has more than proven himself with iconic movies left and right. Seeing Zack Snyder and The Rock make magic on the big screen is every action movie buff’s dream come true.

How did the Snyder Cut come to be?

The Snyderverse came into existence when the director, Zack Snyder, left the Justice League movie in the middle of shooting due to the death of his daughter. Wanting to release the movie on a tight schedule, DC hired a new director and shot the movie in a different direction.

When the movie was released in theaters, it was an absolute fail. The two directors had very different views on the movie. This created a mess where one scene was leagues different from another. After this, Snyder announced that his movie had been shot but wasn’t released and he didn’t want to disappoint fans.

So fans marched forward with Twitter being flooded with comments like Release the Snyder Cut. And for the premiere of their new streaming platform, HBO Max, WB announced that the Snyder Cut will be making its debut on the platform.
