“He’s Completely Honest With Me”: Young NXT Star Chooses Underrated Wrestler Over Triple H or Shawn Michaels When it Comes to Advice

Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been the cornerstones in building the new generation of WWE superstars. Without them, NXT wouldn’t be the gold standard for young wrestlers that it is today. Their influence has been immense and many wrestling fans can also appreciate these legends helping youngsters with their level of experience.

When asked about who she would go to for the ultimate advice for her career, one NXT wrestler didn’t pick the obvious choice of Triple H or Michaels. It seems like there is someone else in the Performance Center that this wrestler would go to instead of these WWE Hall of Famers for advice to improve.

On the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray, Tommy Dreamer, Mark Henry, and Dave LaGreca had NXT up-start Zoey Stark on the show. Ray, being a big fan of Stark’s work in the ring, took charge of asking questions. He detailed all the sources and coaches that she has in NXT, including Triple H and Shawn Michaels. After that, he asked her who would she go for the ultimate advice above all. Surprisingly, Stark took the name of former WWE star Matt Bloom aka A-Train.

She said, “I feel like he’s completely honest with me. He doesn’t beat around the bush. Tells me exactly what I need to do to get to that next level. When we watch back our videos, he breaks every little detail down that I do not see, to him, it’s so clear.

Matt Bloom, for fans who don’t remember, was a former WWE star under the ring name, A-Train or Tensai. Throughout his career in WWE, Bloom was a solid mid-card performer whether it was the Attitude Era or the Ruthless Aggression. One of the biggest matches that Bloom was a part of was pairing up with The Big Show against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 19.

But now, Bloom is one of the most essential parts of the new generation of superstars in WWE at the Performance Center. While Michaels and The Game keep helping stars with their character work and ensure they are ready for success, Bloom builds their foundation in the best way possible.
