Rhea Ripley has been messing with the superstars in the men’s division for a while now. She has successfully laid waste to many male wrestlers on the roster and no one has dared to step up to her. But with Randy Orton back, will things change?

On the November 27 edition of Monday Night Raw, both the superstars came face to face. They had quite an intense confrontation where Orton revealed that he’d been following Ripley’s rise to the top while he was injured. But he also made the ominous declaration that Mami’s days on top may be numbered now that “Daddy’s home.”

Women have entered the men’s rumble match in the past. Beth Phoenix, Kharma, and Nia Jax have all given the men a run for their money in the competition. Come January, there is a chance that Ripley might enter, given her dominance in the promotion. If she enters the men’s Royal Rumble match, she could be on the receiving end of an RKO should Orton compete in the Rumble match too.

For a while now, the WWE Universe has been waiting to see her eat an RKO, so the Rumble may be the right time. Male wrestlers usually refrain from attacking female wrestlers. But Orton has no such hesitations and actually has a notorious history of RKO-ing female superstars.

Among the list of female wrestlers RKO-ed by Orton are Stacy Keibler, Beth Phoenix, Alexa Bliss, Trish Stratus, Stephanie McMahon, and even an 80-year-old Fabulous Moolah! But Orton’s most satisfying RKO to a female superstar took place in the 2019 Royal Rumble.

In 2019, Nia Jax participated in both men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. She entered the men’s Royal Rumble elimination match and attacked R-Truth who was entering at #30. R-Truth was a fan favorite at the time and Jax was heavily disliked by fans for injuring wrestlers in her matches.

When Jax entered the ring there was a hesitance to attack her, but when she dominated Mustafa Ali and dumped him out of the ring, she was instantly identified as a threat. Only when Orton, Rey Mysterio, and Dolph Ziggler teamed up were they able to subdue ‘The Irresistible Force.’ After a super kick from Ziggler, a 619 from Mysterio, and an RKO from Orton, Jax was too dazed to defend herself.

The men then joined hands for a brief moment to throw her out of the ring. Orton’s RKO proved invaluable in thwarting a dominant female superstar. If Ripley decides to enter the Rumble, Orton may need to bust out his fabled finisher if he wishes to win the contest. Do you think Rhea Ripley could get RKO-ed at the Royal Rumble next month?
