From Roman Reigns to Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar has faced everyone who was big in WWE at one point or another. He dethroned The Rock and shocked the world by having a bloody match with John Cena.

Throughout his almost 20 years in the company, Lesnar has given the audience a ton of amazing moments to remember him by. Everyone who entered the company, along with him, either left the company or found other industries.

But even after succeeding against all odds, Lesnar chose to leave the company for UFC. That could’ve been the end for Lesnar and WWE, but the Beast Incarnate decided to come back and make more history.

Surprisingly, during this interview, earlier this year, Lesnar revealed that there was another time that he thought about retirement, but things changed. Being such a powerful person, what could change Lesnar’s mind?

Brock Lesnar once talked about retirement before facing Roman Reigns

In an interview with Michael Kay, Lesnar was asked about retirement. Lesnar replied, “I know because when I was younger, I thought I wanted to retire when I’m 40. I actually retired when COVID hit and my contract was up in 2020. So, full circle Brock Lesnar’s story. I had my first pro wrestling match in Hammel, Minnesota, in a garage in front of no people and 20 years later, the WWE Heavyweight Champion had my wrestling match in a garage in front of no people. So, 20 years, full cycle, I’m like, alright, cool, I’m out. My contract was up and then cha-ching.”

Well, as they say, that money makes the world go around. But thinking about the big picture here, Lesnar won’t be able to wrestle forever. But ever since coming back to the wrestling ring, Lesnar has had a second wind.

His cowboy look, coupled with his newly added personality, made the audience love him from a different perspective.

Even after Triple H took over the company, Lesnar’s return was still pushed as a massive thing. Lesnar is still getting treated as the big guy and he has the same aura as he did before.

While he doesn’t have to be the top guy in WWE anymore, his multiple returns to the company every so often give the audience everything that they want.
